Meet Our Officiants

Rev. Heath Watson

It is always an honor to be invited into some of life’s most significant and memorable moments, and I take great joy in partnering with couples and families to create their ceremony. I am an ordained minister and a Florida Notary Public, with endorsements from the American Humanist Society, the International Association of Professional Wedding Officiants, and the Celebrant Foundation & Institute.

In addition to serving as an officiant and celebrant, I pastored several churches in the Tampa Bay Area from 1995 to 2018. These congregations represented a mix of conservative and liberal, denominational and interdenominational traditions. That experience has helped me connect genuinely with both the churched and the unchurched alike, making everything from traditional to progressive ceremonies well within my wheelhouse.

I proudly serve people of all faiths—or no faith—races, cultural traditions, genders, ages, and the LGBTQ+ couples. I am also available to travel for ceremonies, schedule permitting.

I have been passionate about helping couples celebrate their big day for over 25 years! I was a Wedding DJ and provided many fun and exciting wedding receptions. I'm now performing on the other side of the spectrum by officiating the ceremony.

My experience in the wedding industry allows me to know how to perform the ceremony with grace, poise, and professionalism. I can present the happy couple to the world with that same fun and excitement for all to enjoy, and I look forward to playing a role on your special day!
